Boundaries, detail of performance, 2000, 5 minutes.
Performance produced in the Sala Luis Miro Quesada Garland Gallery from the Centro Cultural de la Municipalidad de Miraflores, during the exhibition Terreno de Experiencia in Lima, Peru. In this performance I read imported art books in other languages using Spanish phonetic. Thus the contents became impossible to understand. I also carried on with different actions in this relation with the books. The performance ended with me eating a book. In this performance I comment on our relation with languages to produce a social an political commentary about the accessibility to information in the country, conditioned by the social and economical situation.
