Memory, performance at the San Marcos National University, Lima, Peru, 1998, (4 minutes detail). In this performance I was in a plastic bag, like the ones used to carry dead bodies in my country. I was singing love’s songs, and I mentioned the names and some physical descriptions of students and university professors that were tortured and killed by the former Fujimori’s regime. These people were kidnapped at a national university. The militaries have occupied the university when I was doing the performance, in that way the audience was there as my only protection when I was moving on the floor around the university.
